Why use the Location Specific Shipment List
The location specific help shipment section shows the same information that can be filtered for on the All Shipments section; but if you are based out of certain location, then view shipments this way is beneficial.
For example a shop manager for a particular district doesn’t need to always see all shipments for every district, vendor, job, etc. in the system because typically they only need to know about the ones affecting them. So rather than having to filter the shipments down to where they are located, they can simply view the location specific shipment tabs to see the inventory that is either preparing to be shipped to/from or has shipped to/from their location.
Another example would be hands on a job. Their current location would be automatically set to the job they are assigned to, so they could quickly view all inventory that has or will be shipped to their location and be ready for it when it arrives.
