Filtering The MTBF List
By default this list will show all assets for the current month that have had a work order completed that was setup to track if an asset failure but by using the available search filters, you can find assets based off different criteria.
The main Search filter let’s you search details of an asset. It also supports searching for a specific phrase by wrapping the search term in quotes (“) or wild card searches by prepending or appending an asterisks (*) to the search term.
To see only assets that were marked with a failure, select Failures Only in the upper right side of the page.
How MTBF is Calculated
We can calculate both an Internal MTBF and an External MTBF value for assets in the system.
The External MTBF value is determined by taking the sum all Job Hours ( BHA Run Hours help ) for every asset that is returned in the filter and then divide that total hours by the number of external failures help that occurred.
The Internal MTBF value is determined by taking the sum all Job Hours ( BHA Run Hours help ) for every asset that is returned in the filter and then divide that total hours by the number of internal failures help that occurred.
