Viewing All Shipments
The current list of all shipments that have been entered into the system can be viewed under Inventory -> Shipments in the top left navigation panel.
To view and search all shipments, click the All Shipments tab.
This list is sorted in descending order by the shipment’s number and for each shipment listed, we show the following high-level information so that a shipment can be quickly identified without having to click on the shipment to view its details:
- Shipment Number
- Shipment Status
- Total Assets on Shipment
- Total Parts on Shipment
- Date Shipped
- Reference #
- To Location
- From Location
- Logistics Company (if applicable)
- Motors on Shipment (if applicable)
- Shipment Notes
Filtering The Shipment List
By default this list will show all shipments but by using the available search filters, you can find shipments based off different criteria.
The main Search filter let’s you search any detail of a shipment including text that was entered in any of the bid’s note fields. It also supports searching for a specific phrase by wrapping the search term in quotes (“) or wild card searches by prepending or appending an asterisks (*) to the search term.
Search Filter Examples:
To find all shipments that have a motor on them going either from or to the Bishop Half Brother location, enter motor AND bishop.
Entering motor bishop or motor OR bishop returns any shipment with a motor on it or any shipment that has the word bishop (either in a vendor or logistics company name or a well name or job name, etc.).
To find all staged and in transit shipments going to Midland type midland in the To Location search filter.
To find all shipments that were shipped yesterday but have NOT been recieved, select shipped in the Status filter and select yesterday’s date in the Shipped on Date filter.
Any searches that are peformed frequently can be bookmarked help so that they can be quickly and easily accessed.
Exporting The Shipment List
Shipments can also be exported help if you need to download a list of shipments to perform futher analysis or import into a different program.
The export contains all shipments that are part of the currently applied filters and displayed in the shipment list. This gives the ability to customize exaclty what shipments are in the export for different needs.
To export bids click on the Export Bids button on the top right of the page.
Currently the exports are available in the following formats.
A Microsoft Excel version that separates the Shipment data into the following sheets:
- A Shipments sheet that shows shipment information for a shipment.
- An Assets sheet that shows asset serial numbers and types for each of the shipments.
- A Parts sheet that shows part information for each of the shipments.
A CSV version that contains the same information as the Microsoft Excel version but combines the Shipments, Assets and Parts sheets into a single, large table.
