Viewing Asset Information
For every asset that is tracked in the system, you can easily and quickly see an overview of its details, status, current location and/or its parent/child components.
To view an asset’s details, click the asset’s serial number from the asset list and then select the Summary tab. Asset details can also be viewed by clicking on the asset’s serial number any place it is shown in the system.
An asset’s details page shows the all of the high-level information about an asset and is used to quickly identify information about an asset, its current location, its current status, a brief history of the last 10 things that happened to it and depending on if it is part of an assembly, its parent or component assets.
The Details section displays the many different characteristics about the asset such as serial number, part number, current location, manufacturer, vendor, current status, service hours help , life hours help , size, etc. Also based on the type of asset, this section can show specific asset related information such as bend angle for a motor or Bottom Connection for a lift sub. Since each type of asset and the information that is recorded and tracked is configured, this information that is displayed in this section is a Drakewell Configurable Item help .
For any information that is displayed in a specific unit of measure, those units can be easily switched help between imperial and metric values.
The History section list the 10 most recent things to happen to this asset such as various work orders, shipments, put on BHAs, etc. Within this section you can quickly navigate to the different events by clicking on work order numbers, shipment numbers and job numbers that are shown within the asset’s history.
To see the asset’s entire history, click the History tab at the top of the page or click See Full History in the top right header of this section.
If the asset you are viewing is part of an assembly, then either the Parent or Components section will be displayed.
The Parent section will show the parent asset serial number and type that the asset is currently a component on. The system also keeps track of every parent asset this component has ever been assembled on if needed.
To see every parent asset this component has been assembled on, click the Parent History tab at the top of the page or click See Full Parent History in the top right header of this section.
The Components section is show if the asset is currently assembled and is made up of a bunch of component assets. These component asset serial numbers and types will be displayed. The system also keeps track of every component asset that has ever been assembled on this asset if needed.
To see every component asset that has been assembled on this asset, click the Component History tab at the top of the page or click See Full Component History in the top right header of this section.
